IW REQUIREMENTS - Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HTML and CSS is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CSS-based layout with and without tables is required
  • An understanding and proficiency in graphics production and compression in Photoshop and/or Macromedia Fireworks
  • Ability to create and implement Flash within designs
  • A good command of web standards, cross-browser compatibility and various web optimization techniques
  • Knowledge and Experience in search engine optimization is a plus
  • Knowledge and Experience working in a PHP environment preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience working in a ASP environment preferred
  • Knowledge and Experience working with proprietary 3rd Party Software and other DB driven web site e.g. content management system (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM), affiliate program, membership program, ecommerce store and shopping carts

Below are some of the terms and conditions to participate in this new endeavor which will be included, in part or in whole, in the Independent Contractor Agreement:

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEEMENT: IW will be signing an Independent Contractor Agreement enforceable and valid for a period of 2-year. Full Agreement will be disclosed upon approval of your application.

EXCLUSIVITY: IW will be exclusive to providing only WebSiteCenter.com products and services. IW cannot offer the same services outside of WebSiteCenter.com on behalf of other companies doing basically the same thing or as an independent or individual outside of WebSiteCenter.com. This heading corresponds and correlated to the NON-COMPETE CLAUSE which is extended for 2-years after leaving WebSiteCenter.com.

APPROVAL: Independent Webmaster (IW) must qualify or be approved by WebSiteCenter.com committee in order to participate in this BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY program - meaning - we cannot rent out the cubicles to all graphic designers and not include any PHP or flash developers, etc. The team must be evenly proportioned in talent and resources in order for the team to fully benefit from this type of working environment.

QUOTA: IW will have a monthly quota of $10,000 accumulative gross revenue. This quota is enforced every quarter so the total quota can be the total average for a period of 3 months. For example, if you generated $3K this month, $12K the next month and $15K the third month - thus averaging $10K per month - is within the quotas guideline.

OFFICE RENT: IW must pay a monthly minimum of $250 for lease of office space/cubicle per month.

ENTRY FEE: IW must pay a one-time entry fee of $3000 to participate in the program. This fee is to cover initial cost i.e. liability insurance coverage, supplies, staff, account creation, agreement, setup and training - which will be refundable after 2-year of complete service without any infractions or deviation from the terms and conditions of the Independent Contractor Agreement. The entry fee will also be used to purchase or maintain the computer, software license and accessories. Any subsequent users from thereon will still pay for the $3000 fee - even if an existing cubicle and computer is already in place. If a participant does not last longer than 2 year due to infractions or violations of the terms of the Agreement i.e. not meeting the monthly quota, shall forfeit the entry fee.

TRAINING: - WebSiteCenter.com will conduct training on Sales Strategies, Extensive Information on Products and Services, Paperwork, etc.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES: IW will share in the office day-to-day responsibilities such as answering telephones, handling sales and support calls - as WebSiteCenter.com management deems necessary.

SHARED SUPPORT: WebSiteCenter.com will provide a support staff to manage the scheduling plus any and all coordination with client and IW to complete the project in a timely manner.

SHARED REVENUES: Websitecenter.com shall allocate as much as 33% of the gross income on all applicable products and services that directly affect IWs. Detailed information on payment schedule will be provided in full upon initial interview.

FRANCHISE, LICENSEE FOR IWs: IW and Licensee Holder are basically one and the same. The payment structure, however, is reversed. Franchise or Licensee Holder is on 66% percentage share and WebSiteCenter.com is on 34% Gross Percentage Share. However, Licensee holder will need to contribute to the company's overall marketing budget and share the expense on administrative costs that directly affects his/her location or state.

ASSIGNMENT OF PROJECTS: IW - after several months of work, IW would have typically accumulated a good number of clientele - say about 10-20 completed projects - and will most likely start seeing these finished projects coming back for more modifications, updates or redo. WebSiteCenter.com will have the capacity and the ability to assign the Work Orders to the original IW. Or, reassign the new work orders to other IW in the office - thus providing immediate support to our client - regardless of which IW did the original work. Of course, the original IW that worked on the project will have the FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL and the initial consideration to receive the Work Order however, it will always be at WebSiteCenter.com discretion as to who the Work Order should be assigned first. WebSiteCenter.com will use its discretion and assign the Work Order based on the following priorities: 1) determine the required turnaround time for the work to be done; 2) the client's account status - current or delinquent; 3) availability of original IW; 4) availability of other IWs.

IW'S REMOVAL FROM WEBSITECENTER: From time to time, certain IW will inevitably break some of the rules and guidelines set out in the Independent Contractor agreement - depending on the gravity of the infraction or offense, WebSiteCenter.com management team or committee reserves the right to determine the proper action against those who violate the rules of the Agreement on a case-by-case basis.

IW QUALIFICATION: As an IW, you must have the right qualifications - in education, skills and experience - and an appropriate business entity i.e. County Business License or a Nevada Corporation or LLC complete with a Federal Employer ID Number (EIN). You must or might be required to furnish your own computer, monitor, printer and any office supplies required to run your business. Ideal candidates would be:

  • Adobe Flash Developers
  • Graphic Designers
  • HTML Developers - We are seeking a front-end HTML+CSS integrator on a full or part-time basis. Duties include creating validated semantic HTML and CSS; merging HTML with CMS application templates as well as a good understanding of javascript creation and implementation.
  • ASP/PHP Developers - We are in need of a PHP/MySQL applications developer to help develop and stabilize our database driven web applications. The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of experience developing web applications on PHP and MySQL platforms independently and within a professional team environment using Object-Oriented Design principles. The candidate must have a good understanding of HTML and some Javascript. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing, testing and implementing production level products on Apache Web Server on Linux based servers. Experience in AJAX, WordPress, Joomla is a plus. Team member will also require occasional technical support to other clients and their developers working on specific projects.

Minimum: Web Authoring Certificate from local college or university. Webmasters are responsible for developing custom or template based web sites, partial or in whole, from beginning to end. Day to day duties includes constant content updates on sites that require day-to-day site management services. Communicate with current project directors for clarifications and/or suggestions and recommendations. Webmaster candidates should be able to work successfully in a team environment and have outstanding communication skills both verbally and in writing. Web Authoring Certification Required. Experienced and familiarity with advanced features of Adobe CS3 / CS4 to create commercial graphic designs and in working with stock photos, animation, including but not limited to Flash (shockwave format). Adobe CS3 / CS4 includes but not limited to Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Distiller, Fireworks and Illustrator. Also required are signed Confidentiality Agreements, Drug Testing and Personal Background checks Release form. Please make a note of this.

Position: Management, Web Developer, Webmaster Assistant
Applicant must be proficient in the following software: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Applicant must possess basic office skills, good oral and written communication and clerical skills i.e., filing, answering telephones, providing customer service support, and utilizing strong written communication skills in composing letters. Use of Microsoft Office Suite will be required. Must be familiar or have taken a class in web design i.e. HTML Hypertext Mark-up Language or equivalent. Web Authoring Certification or Web Media Certification is a big plus but not required. Any other certifications i.e. Adobe or Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSE, or MCD is also a big plus.

Position: Technical Sales Representative for WebSiteCenter.com and WSCMarketplace.com - Commission Only
The technical sales agent will be responsible in following up with current business leads as well as help generate new leads ideal for our WebSiteCenter.com and WSCMarketplace.com company services. Job duties includes assisting the Technical Sales Director with potential customers; selecting the right web site design package, web hosting, merchant account, domain name registrations, online marketing, web site management and web site training options, to customers, if applicable and available through WebSiteCenter.com. Position: Flash and Graphic Designers
Minimum: Flash and Graphic Design Certification a must. Experienced and familiarity with advanced features of Macromedia CS3 and/or Adope Photoshop CS3 to create commercially marketable flash and graphic designs. Comfortable working with stock photos, animation, including but not limited to Flash (shockwave format). Applicant must also possess good clerical skills i.e., filing, answering telephones, provide customer support, compose letters and strong communication skills. Experience and use of Microsoft Office Suite will be required. Must be familiar or have taken a class in Hypertext Mark-up Language or equivalent. Part Time / Full Time.
